Jennifer was raised in Camarillo, California, and grew up attending Sunday services at the Camarillo United Methodist Church along with her brother and parents. After graduating from California State University, Long Beach, Jennifer moved to San Diego County, and has lived in the South Bay since 2001. Jennifer has worked as a Community Educator, Peer Education Coordinator, and as a Community Engagement Specialist, focusing on providing health education to schools, community organizations, and youth serving agencies in the Central West regions of San Diego County. While providing education in the communities, Jennifer also received her Master’s degree in Education, with an emphasis in Cross Cultural Teaching.

 

Jennifer has worked with volunteers and peer educators and has helped to develop programs and curriculum. She has also helped to coordinate events that promote positive youth outcomes.

 

Jennifer currently lives in Bonita with her husband Amor, and their two children Trinity Reese and Lotus Natalia. They enjoy travelling, reading, new and fresh adventures, bike riding, going to the beach, but also the simplicity of just being together.
