Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant

Position: Administrative Assistant (part-time; 10 hours/week)

Direct Report to: Director of Church Operations, Brian Cox; Lead Pastor, Brian Parcel

 

Essential job functions:

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

  • Answer phones and greet visitors, always projecting a friendly and welcoming attitude
  • Keep front office work area, workroom, and print shop neat and orderly and free of clutter
  • Receive mail and package orders and deliver to appropriate mailbox or office
  • Attend weekly staff meetings

FACILITY MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee administrative functions for the church
  • Oversee church facility calendar
  • Keep office supplies and copy room stocked

FINANCIAL

  • Oversee counters
  • Prepare bank deposits

SUPERVISOR

  • Supervisor for office volunteers – money counters, volunteer receptionists, etc.
 
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability to use computer and other office technologies
  2. Excellent communication and follow-through skills
  3. Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions
  4. Professional and friendly demeanor on phone/in-person
