Young Adult Ministries

It can be difficult to stay plugged into the church once youth group years are over and “real life” begins. The Young Adult Ministry at First United Methodist Church aims to provide a place of community for college and 20- somethings who are looking to find ways to stay plugged in to the church and continue growing in their faith.

We know that college students are busy, as are young professionals…and they’re usually pretty stressed out. But we want to give you a chance to take a breather and catch up with your church family! The College/Young Adult Group meets once a month for a low-commitment, but high-impact experience in various adventures (i.e. trivia night, hiking excursions, and much more)! Each meeting will provide you a chance to catch up, hang out, vent, share joys and concerns, etc., and have a brief time of devotion and prayer to help you stay connected to each other and your faith.

Campus Conversations

Once a month, we meet on the SDSU campus for a bite to eat and some time to chat! This is a laid back gathering, designed to build relationships and foster community. Contact RaeLynn Fuson if you’re interested in attending.

Join us for worship at the 11am Crossing Service. Modern worship music geared toward young people (and people who are young-at-heart) with a thoughtful message by pastoral staff.
